Robo-signing California Attorney Should be Disbarred, Not Suspended, For Illegal Evictions after Foreclosure

The State Bar of California has issued an order suspending Davis attorney David Endres for illegally evicting residents of foreclosed properties. Endres has been notorious for pursuing eviction cases on behalf of major banks after foreclosure in violation of federal, state and local law. The order calls for Endres to be suspended from practice for six months and required to pay the costs of the proceeding in the amount of $4,000.

ORLANDO — Former Godfather Pizza CEO Herman Cain won the Presidency 5 straw poll here Saturday, delivering a blow to Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s frontrunner status and a victory for a candidate who has struggled to transform his grassroots popularity into strong showings in national polls.

“Tonight’s winner is Herman Cain,” Florida Gov. Rick Scott announced. “It shows you something, the road to the White House come through Florida, and it pays to spend time here.”

“A spokesman for the protesters claimed more than 50 were arrested. The NYPD has not responded to WNYC’s request for comment,” WNYC reported at 5:32 PM EST.

“Protesters wielding signs that demanded ‘End the Fed’ and other anti-Wall St slogans marched up Fifth Avenue near Union Square on Saturday, drawing a significant police presence and snarling traffic in the neighborhood,” Chris Bannon writes for the radio station.

Freeman concluded: “It is a racist thing.”

The actor said the rise of the Tea Party was a disturbing development. “It just shows the weak dark underside of America,” he said. “We’re supposed to be better than that. We really are. That’s why all those people were in tears when Obama was elected president. ‘Ah look at what we are–this is America.’ Then it just sort of started turning because these people surfaced–like stirring up muddy water.”

He said he was “kind of” disappointed that President Obama wasn’t more aggressive in taking on the Tea Party. “He was trying to hold on to his own promise that he would be president of all the people,” Freeman said.

In a quote about the non-event he didn’t say, “We stand for nothing, so I am sure we can gather some folks who will fall for anything.”

As if Jon Stewart had something to say, as if he had a reason to actually call people to the mall, his inflated ego is pushing him towards making an even bigger fool of himself, this time in person.

Steven Colbert jumped right in on the action with his usual brand of extreme non-extremism and called his lemmings to a counter-gathering as well.

Colbert’s rally is Restoring Truthiness and should be almost as lame as Stewart’s.

Stewart is busy falling for all the main stream media talking points and routinely makes fun of people who stand for what they believe in and like many he makes out like he knows what he is talking about.

As usual he is full of shit and even though we know it is supposed to be comedy his slant is usually way to the left and leaves viewers with the impression that standing for something is somehow a bad thing.

Many people like The Daily Show and The Colbert Report and some will likely show up and while these two jokers are sometimes humorous they usually leave me less than satisfied with their political prowess.

Jerry Seinfeld once hit it big with a show about nothing. Can Jon Stewart make a success out of a rally about nothing? This remains to be seen. I will wait for the “crowd to show up” and show their support for nothing.

In the mean time maybe Jon Stewart could come up with something he DOES believe in.

When American freedom and liberty are gone and every American is forced into a financial corner where socialism looks better than starvation, it won’t matter who voted against it!

With the loss of the filibuster, Congressional Republicans have only ONE play left to stop the coming train wreck, when Obamunism runs head-on into millions of increasingly angry American patriots in the streets. Only Congressional Republicans can stop that clash!

Congressional Republicans MUST WALK OUT immediately!

You must pack your bags, close your offices, refuse to enter the congressional chambers for one more pretend vote in which the Democrats will hand you your hat once again.

If Republicans want to harness the power of the Tea Party – 912 – and Town Hall patriots across this land, you can do it in three simple steps…

• Shut down congress by walking out and refusing to return. Can Democrats even call something to a floor vote without a single republican in the chamber? Would they even dare try it?
• Return home and spend time listening to angry patriots in as many town hall meetings as you can schedule. You will earn your pay at a town hall, whereas attending another congressional vote is worse than a waste of time. It’s counter-productive. Go home and listen, don’t talk!
• Grow the backbone to walk away from all of your past mistakes, and line up behind the ONLY people who can put you back in power, the American patriots who stand for a constitutional government and against the current steamroller to socialism.

You have only one other option… to keep doing what you’re doing, which amounts to being a big part of the problem, instead of a part of the solution.

WALK OUT TODAY!

GO HOME! – And set up as many town hall meetings in your home districts as you can fit into your schedule. Earn your paycheck by meeting with the people, so that you can once again begin to represent the will of the people. Don’t talk – LISTEN!

Tell Democrats that if they are determined to lead this country into the toilet, they will have to do it all alone without a single republican in the chamber when they do it, one lousy piece of anti-American legislation after another.

Republicans have a very clear choice to make and you had better make it fast! The nation doesn’t need two parties full of leftist losers. Republicans willing to stay in session should be seen not as “RINOs,” but as Democrats… and they will be.

You can take a stand with the 70% of Americans who DO NOT want any form of Cap & Trade, Global Socialized Medicine, a One World Government, the Copenhagen Climate Scam, Amnesty for Illegal’s, or trillion dollar payoffs to leftist organizations and labor unions which only enrich the leftist juggernaut now running roughshod over the nation. Only 25% “strongly approve” of Obamunism as of today… It’s time for you to strike!

We are out of time for any other option. The Tea Party – 912 and Town Hall people will not – I repeat – WILL NOT line up behind Republicans too spineless to put a stop to the hourly destruction of this nation.

Republicans have ONLY one way to regain any form of power, and that is to toss out the politically correct nonsense of the past and line up behind the millions of patriots begging for action across this country!

Republicans either line-up behind the American right in a hurry, or their party is finished, as is this nation.

House Democrats keep stepping on President Obama’s applause lines about innovation and job creation. On Tuesday, Mr. Obama announced that “we’re proposing a complete elimination of capital gains taxes on small business investment” for one year.

Responding with rare dispatch, the House voted yesterday to change the capital gains rate for venture capitalists who invest in technology start-ups. But rather than eliminating the tax, the House more than doubled it, moving the tax rate to 35% from 15% by reclassifying such gains as ordinary income.

Private equity fund managers and managers of real-estate and oil-and-gas partnerships would also get socked with this 133% tax-rate increase. Now there’s a way to encourage economic growth and new jobs.

If Mr. Obama is upset that he didn’t have more of a chance to discuss this before the House acted, he’s not alone. Knowing how popular tax increases are with unemployment at 10%, the House majority rushed the bill to the floor without a hearing or even a committee vote. Then they buried it in a package advertised as an extension of tax cuts for research and development.

The new 35% rate applies to what is known as “carried interest,” which is income that only materializes if fund managers wisely invest the fund’s capital and only after other investors in the fund have benefited. Venture and private equity fund managers already pay normal income taxes on their regular salary derived from management fees. The carried interest, no sure thing, represents a capital gain on a successful investment and has therefore been taxed that way.

Some argue that partnerships should be taxed just like other corporations before money is distributed to partners. We think that’s a reasonable argument in the context of lowering the 35% U.S. corporate tax rate to something remotely competitive in the world economy. By itself, this tax increase is simply a drag on investment and job growth.

Mr. Obama now has a chance to respond with similar speed and show his commitment to lower capital-gains taxes on start-up investments. A Statement of Administration Policy condemning the House bill would discourage the Senate from making a similar mistake.
